Director of Operations
Symphony of the Mountains is seeking a full-time Director of Operations to join our team! We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented professional who enjoys a lively work environment, feels comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines, and is adaptable during busy production periods.
The Director of Operations ensures the smooth planning and production of all orchestra events (including concerts, rehearsals, and multiple three-state tours each season) and works closely with Symphony of the Mountains, Voices of the Mountains, and various chamber ensembles. This role oversees orchestra personnel and stage crew operations, manages contracts and payroll records, coordinates auditions, schedules musicians, and serves as an essential liaison between the conductor, administrative staff, and musicians.
This position includes two remote workdays per week.

Administrative Coordinator
Symphony of the Mountains is seeking a full-time Administrative Coordinator to join our team! We’re looking for a passionate, detail-oriented professional who enjoys a lively work environment, feels comfortable balancing multiple projects and deadlines, and is adaptable during busy production periods.
The Administrative Coordinator manages daily office operations, all ticketing and box office functions, event and reception coordination (including the Annual Gala), education and outreach logistics, youth ensemble administration, donor processing, and volunteer engagement. This position provides essential administrative support to staff, musicians, donors, and community partners, ensuring smooth and welcoming interactions across all Symphony of the Mountains activities.
